Established in 1989 by Heike Heinrich in Gols, Burgenland, Weingut Heinrich has evolved into one of Austria's most acclaimed wineries. Transitioning to biodynamic practices in 2006, the estate emphasizes natural processes and minimal intervention to authentically express the region's terroir. Their vineyards, spanning approximately 100 hectares, are cultivated only with indigenous Austrian grape varieties. Velvety and vibrant, this biodynamic and vegan blend (40% Blaufränkisch, 30% St. Laurent, 30% Zweigelt) offers juicy layers of cherry, blackberry, and subtle herbal spice. Fermented with native yeasts and aged over a year in wood, it strikes a rare balance of freshness and depth. Light-bodied yet structured, it finishes with gentle acidity, soft tannins, and a lively, fruit-driven lift.
